View 2003 Legislative Bills

In the summer of 2002, the Coalition sent a survey to all Oregon legislative and gubernatorial candidates, and midterm state senators about their willingness to bring back fairness to the workers' compensation system.

Updated in 2003, the responses of those serving in this legislative session are now displayed.

Sent along with the survey was a briefing paper which outlined some of the problems we face and proposals to remedy them.

The Injured Worker Coalition (IWC) is workers and their families-unionized and otherwise--who have suffered at the hands of the current workers' compensation system, who support injured workers and their families, and who believe we are one injury away from losing all for which we have spent our lives working. We are advocates for occupational safety and health, as well.
