AND THEY TRY TO CLAIM WORKERS ARE THE DISHONEST ONES.

On January 15, 1999, a Class Action Lawsuit was filed in Chemung County, New York, and was assigned Docket Number 99/1050.
The lawsuit, accuses the Chairman, and several judges with racketeering. The defendants conspired to deprive injured workers of the Workers' Compensation Board's honest service, and used the United States Postal Service to execute their scheme. Federal law makes it a crime to use the mail to defraud a person of the intangible right to honest service (18USC1341 and 1346).
According to the complaint, the defendants committed numerous acts of mail fraud and, as such, arranged bogus hearings for the benefit of others, and used the mail in each incident.
The complaint alleges that the defendants have refused to exercise jurisdiction over its own laws and rules, and conducted hearings beyond their grant of power.
Ironically, the lawsuit names the Workers' Compensation Inspector General as a defendant. According to the complaint, the IG was aware of the illegal conduct, but failed to inform the New York State Attorney General's Office, or take any corrective action. The action also claims he stopped a local police investigation of perjury, over a year ago, for the benefit of others.
The complaint lists the Chair, Robert Snashall, amongst the Defendants, as well as providing for a Jury Demand.
