The overall reduction in comp costs for Oregon employers in '99
compared to this year is an estimated $31 million. Cumulative savings from
cuts since 1990 have been about $3.8 billion.
Do they really expect us to believe that worker safety improvements
are the reason for this bonanza. It seems like everyone with a stake in
the system is doing great except for injured workers of course.
