Although the decision hasn't been posted on their website yet workers won a major victory last week when the Oregon Supreme Court ruled against SAIF in the link below.
SAIF had refused an aggravation claim to an original injury because over one year had passed and those "good folks" at the WC Board sided with them.
The Court said it was an aggravation and discounted the one year limit. I suspect many workers who have lost claims because of the time limit and were instead forced to file a "new" injury might be able to refile their original claims due to this.
