Chris;

Actually there were quite a number of injured workers at the Workers Memorial Day.
My wife and I carried signs and were approached by and spoke with numerous injured
workers. Theses were people we had not met before. We were quite suprized and
gratified at the turn out. Those injured workers were quiet and respectfull of the
moment as this was a day to recognize those workers and families of workers that
had died as a result of their employment.

We made several new contacts with concerned victims of Oregons draconian Workers
Comp system. This has given me renewed confidence in what we are doing to change
the system is just and is absolutely the right thing to do.

When Gov. Kitzhauber call the Oregon Workers Comp system the "Bosnia of Oregon
Politics" in a charge to MLAC he understated the problem.

It is now time to consider a new approach to this issue as the Legislature and Gov
passed and signed into law SB 460 that renewed exclusive remedy.

I can guarentee you in the insurance and workers comp industry will love our next
move. You have screwed to many injured workers for too long. It is time to screw
back.
