That's not always the case, maybe it is in Oregon. I'm in Washington state and my doctor hasn't concurred with the IMEs they sent me to, but they had not accepted the claim yet and after the last IME they decided to deny it based on THEIR IME's report. My friend had her claim closed even though she was under treatment with her doctor. Fair or not, it happens.
And if Juli is in more pain after her surgery than before and don't think is very considerate to say "then you are no worse off than when your claim originally closed".
Some of us are being made the "scape goat" for the abuses of others. Not every injured worker is faking it.
