HR 987 is an anti-worker bill that will block OSHA from protecting workers from ergonomic injuries. Nurses are a primary target for ergonomic injuries, (particularly back injuries), members of Comgress ought to let OSHA protect workers and vote NO on HR 987.
Nurses suffer from debilitating, musculoskeletal disorders, such as back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome and tendinitis. Nurses have waited several years for OSHA to release this standard, it should not be futher delayed.
