I hate the word "victim". You've implied that since there is a crime, there is a criminal. But who? Who is it? Your "claims representative?" Insurance employees? The doctors? Your boss? They spread their disingenuity around like a hot virus. And even the waffeling BOLI and RRU people. Their bureaucratic do-nothingness is aiding abetting a crime. You'll feel better when you stop being a victim.
Fight back. Write a few letters. Attend a few meetings.
Think of them as pigs at a trough. They can't see when their noses are in the slop.
