Getting my checks

Postby NervyOne » May 30th, 2006, 9:37 am

I started a new claim at the begining of March that covered time at the end of April. I live in Oregon and my company uses Farmers for a workmans comp company. I have received one check so far. That was two weeks ago. I am wondering how often I am supposed to get paid by workmans comp. The claim, for damage due to chemical exposure, has been accepted and I have an appointment with a neurologist next week.

Anybody out there know how often I'm supposed to get a check?
You would think that in this day and age.....

I don't know about Farmers , but SAIF checks are every 2 weeks and if you are injured so that you will be off permanently or for several months, don't be surprised if around the first of December , right before Christmas that your checks just stop coming so hire a lawyer.
