DO YOU KNOW OF ANY OTHER SITES LIKE YOURS? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH OTHER INJURED WORKERS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR MANY MONTHS AND HAVE HAD LITTLE SUCCESS. I HAVE ALOT OF GOOD INFORMATION TO SHARE, I'VE WORKED HARD ON FINDING OUT WHAT THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRIES IS ACTUALLY REQUIRED BY LAW TO DO, AND THE LIMITED OPTIONS ONE HAS WHEN THEY DO NOT DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. IT IS REALLY VERY SCARY WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT THEY ARE ALL YOV'E GOT, THEY REPLACED THE LAW, TOOK AWAY ALL YOUR RIGHTS, AND PROMISED "SURE AND CERTAIN RELEIF" FOR ALL INJURED WORKERS IN EXCHANGE... UNFORTUNATELY, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE WHAT THEY PROMISED.

YES, it could happen to you !!!!! If you are an injured worker think about
the fact that one voice is mighty small against a very large opposition.
Why not join in with the voices of the individuals that have already
experienced the "bad and the ugly". This is your change to make a
difference. Let's do it !!!

I have been fighting with Washington state worker's comp since 5-97. I was injured at work and had to have surgery. I still need to have my bite closed but cannot find a specialist willing to treat me because they will not receive full payment. I have not been able to chew food for almost 2 years and until I have my bite fixed cannot chew. I have gone to worker's comp second opinion and they agreed with my doctors. This has been a continuous problem for me, finding qualified doctors to care for my TMJ, since my injury. Who can I talk to to find out more about how workers comp actually works? Thank you,Kathi
