I was wondering if anyone knew what rights I have here in the state of Ca. I have been placed on temp. disablity for 4 weeks and I think my employer is going to fire me. I was put through hell before being put on disabilty ie. Docking pay for doctors visits and a drop in commision. Can they do this to me or are there laws to protect me here.....Thank you for any help David |

Posted At 20:57:48 03/28/2001 Hi David I've been on W/C for two years now. I'm in CA. too. Employers can be very nasty when it comes to an injury, and most of the time they’re not in the right. I went through the same thing with my employer. Then I got a lawyer and he straitened them right out. They never bothered me again. You really need to get one if you want to be treated right.
