I have been fighting with Washington state worker's comp since 5-97. I was injured at work and had to have surgery. I still need to have my bite closed but cannot find a specialist willing to treat me because they will not receive full payment. I have not been able to chew food for almost 2 years and until I have my bite fixed cannot chew. I have gone to worker's comp second opinion and they agreed with my doctors. This has been a continuous problem for me, finding qualified doctors to care for my TMJ, since my injury. Who can I talk to to find out more about how workers comp actually works? Thank you,Kathi |
