I was injured five months ago on the job and have three doctors stating disc and nerve problems. None of them can tell me if I will ever be able to go back to my job. Now the insurance company is saying she isn't getting proper information from one of my doctors. i know this isn't true because I have copies of all the reports. Now Workmans Comp in New York has told me they have agreed to an IME. The guy there told me it meant "Independant Medical Examiner." now I am seeing all this information being posted here. Something tells me I need to call a lawyer right away. Any tips? |

Have you been to the New York injured worker site. Its listed in "Related Groups" under "Worker Assistance" in the main page. There's other links there that will help you learn more. Good luck |
