I have two stimulators implanted, one Spinal Cord for leg pain and one Interstim for urinary control. What type of permanent if any, disabilities do the WC industry rate these at, and what type of future medical will most likely be allowed too maintain these devices?
Thanks

You will likely need to have the batteries replaced every 3 to 5 years. In addition the unit itself will also need to be replaced eventually. You will also need f/u with the doctor every 3 to 6 months. Ask your doctor to give you an estimate of future medical care. Hope everything works out for you.
