don't get a lawyer till you have to. educate yourself. you loose rights with a lawyer, in california the system favors the injured till he or she gets a lawyer. the insurance companies reason for being is to make money for it's stockholders. lawyers for the injured are the lowest paid lawyers in lawyer land. lawyers who work for insurance companys are paid very well. don't get a lawyer if you can educate yourself, if you can't educate yourself get a lawyer and good luck. you get what you pay for. if you must get a lawyer go down to the wc appeals board and talk to many injured workers to find a good advocate. you can not leave this to chance. |
