Is there any groups like this one with a good website also for matters relating to Washington state...maybe its not considered to be as bad up here as in Oregon but I'll tell anyone right now it is needed.. appreciate it... |

Posted At 14:08:00 07/03/2000 Here's some places that might know of an advocacy group. All but the AFL-CIO are based in Washington State. I have a few names of people from your state that have inquired in the past but I don't post e-mail addresses in this forum without permission. Use the "Site Search" engine from the main page and also the one on top of this forum's main index page that says "WI's 1st Board" and type Washington to see previous postings that have that word. Posted At 21:51:45 07/06/2000 There is a group that is organizing to include links for all 50 states, the site is currently under construction but there is some info available for Washington at www.injuredworkers4change.org. The organization of a site encompasing all 50 states is a huge undertaking, and anyone who wants to help should contact the site above. This is a wonderful opportunity for unification of all injured workers, and the chance for a voice so loud, it can no longer be ignored by the "powers that be". |
