Injured at Work

Please Assist Us!

Injured Workers' Alliance was formed in July 1998. We are unpaid volunteers who advocate improved workplace safety standards and fair and adequate treatment of workers injured on-the-job. Our numerous and wide-reaching efforts include proposing and pushing pro-worker legislation and educating the public and government officials about workers' compensation and workplace safety. Because we advocate to improve laws in these areas, we do not qualify for IRS 501c3 tax deducible status.

IWA is instead a political action committee (PAC). Per Oregon law, residents can contribute up to $50 annually (or up to $100 for couples) and receive a dollar-for-dollar deduction from the amount owed in state income taxes. Remember, your Oregon tax credit means your contribution will be returned - it's free to you.

Help us make Oregon a state that protects its workers from harm.
